John Deere 290 Corn Planter Drill Shaft Shifter H2176B, JD 490 By cross-referencing the parts, it looks to be later than 1953 but earlier than 1957. Many parts also fit the 490 446 and 246. See pics for more details. Planter was stored outside. it was tarped but after awhile it came off. These parts are greasy, dirty, surface rusted and may have dings and dents.
