It says "He Gave to the World the steel plow". 1861 -Following the successful introduction of the Van Brunt seeder, which had become a popular piece of equipment in Wisconsin, the Van Brunt brothers moved their operations from Mayville, Wisconsin, to a facility in Horicon, which gave them more resources to grow their business.1880-Sales of the Van Brunt brothers’ products began reaching as far as New York and Canada.1911-John Deere & Company bought the Van Brunt business and continued to sell a variety of disks, drills, and other farming-related products.Measures: 4" W x 9" H. Condition: Corners and edges are slightly worn.
